This... is so very funny, and wrong, and funny... but you have to understand the alternative meaning behind "tea bagging". Do the GOP even understand what they are doing?

Its not teabagging, its a TEA (Taxed Enough Already!) party, in remembrance of the Boston Tea party. The GOP didn't start it, a bunch of housewives in the Midwest IIRC.

I have no idea who started the idea. I've been hearing about it for awhile, including from a few conservative videos, including one former stock trader who ranted about how good it would be, and from some very earnest white folks who were serious about their original intent, which I can respect but I don't fully agree with. I've also been reading how it is now getting rather beyond its original intent, and seems to be an idea that the GOP wants to take over for their own reasons.

If the TEA party takes root as a non-partisan issue and action, then I can see some real good coming from it. But if one party or the other take it over, as it seems to be happening, then I don't think things will change for the better.
