More than halfway!

Taking a small break from the handsewing of eyelets because my fingers are very sore. Why I do them, when I dislike making them, I don't know. But they continue. So far, 24 of them have been sewn on the effigy bodies. This means 20 more to go, unless I add in the ones around the waistline, which are marked and can be done. But... Have you checked Hedgehog Handiworks? They will probably be at costume college. They are located in El Segundo, down here in SoCal.

I checked with them last year, and they didn't have tailor's thimbles, tho they did have some pretty ceramic ones, and a thimble holder. Thanks.

You do handmade eyelets because they're The Right Thing To Do, of course. They're period correct, less bulky, and stronger than metal grommets.

I liked the metal one so much, I bought one. They have them in small sizes!! I also bought some big eye needles, as I am finding I need them now.
