Hey docryder,

Remember me saying that it was illegal for a store to require a minimum charge before a credit card can be used?

Well, I was incorrect. It is not illegal, it just violates their credit card REGULATIONS.

So, what this boils down to is that credit card companies seem to want to drive small businesses out of business. Small businesses like Titan do things like this because the credit card companies charge them extra fees to process small transactions, so to avoid these charges, the small businesses break the policy.

I'll support the little guy, even if he's "breaking policy," even though it might cost me. I'd likely buy something else anyway.

There are exceptions to that rule the_vampkitty September 9 2008, 05:56:48 UTC
If someone is being a -bookkeeper, facilitator- for a bulk buy - and are not reselling the fabric/beads/whatever the items may be, they can charge the fees.
