Cam's a First Grader tomorrow.

Well. Summer is at an end, at least for us. Cam returns back to school in the early am, so that means we both have to be up early in order for him to get to his school bus by 8am or so. Man, did summer go by quickly (and considering the temps will still be in the 100s, it soooo does not feel anything like fall

YAY Congrats on bing a big 1st grader Cam!

this whole "shopping list for your kid to bring to school" thing is still so odd to me. I mean I understand the why but ya well thats a whole other rant haha

I think, recalling back to my mother's comments...

that having a child in school is a mixed blessing.

On the one hand, the parent still wants the child at home, to teach them more, but is often grateful that the child is not at home, because the noise levels and interference levels are lower.

At any rate, I hope he did well today. Made new friends, met new people, likes his teacher.
