Toddler portrait

For my own record

Madeleine of France (1520-1537), at about the age of 1.5-2, maybe 3.

I wonder if I could make this for my daughter (or will she have outgrown it by the time I am done.)

I am going to try to screen capture the zoomed images if I can.

I've never seen that one - isn't she darling!
Well, the headdress should "keep" - not a lot of change in size there. As for the little gown (oooo, and tiny blackwork on the chemise for it!!!) maybe some "extra" built into seams, for letting out when necessary?
I would so want to make that if I had a little one...

um, if you sew REALLY fast and make it a little big it'll work for maybe A faire.
Adorable though, if you attempt it i'd love to see it done.
