Must we BE Internet savvy??

Why do people insist that other people must become Internet savvy? That everything done must be done online, or even on a computer? Why can't they understand that not everyone is on a computer, or even owns a computer, let alone uses the Internet, especially on a frequent/daily basis??!!

While I practically live on the Internet on my off-hours, I agree that some people take the use of the Internet too far. What you've written about here is a prime example of that. If I were more involved in faire, I'd boycott this faire for this kind of underhanded BS. Maybe that should be suggested.

Oh, and as to the camera on the computer: with my limitations on travel, I like that I have a way to see your kids during the week. That's a silver lining for the cloud that is the Internet. :-)
