Weekly weigh in.

I forgot to weight myself on Monday, so I did so last night, then again this morning.

Hun, we forgot to 0 out the scale, so it was off by a few pounds. I am at 205, which matches my doctor's amount, but is 2 pounds less than last week. This was 3 pounds more than what it showed last night.

Slowly but surely I will lose this weight.

Boy do I know how your feeling. The doctor's have me on a diet too. It's more for my GERD than anything. I've been having some really bad problems and almost chock on my own re-flex. the after effect isn't nice either. So we've tried all kinds of diets with not much results except for South Beach. It must be the lack of certain fats that help. Presently, I'm on Weight Watchers and doing lots better with the GERD. Haven't had a problem for two months. And yes, and added benefit is the weight loss. Although I only need to lose 20 lbs. Even so 40 could drop off my body and it wouldn't hurt.

Just keep moving in a positive direction and things will be better. Keep up the good work!

Thank you. I am glad your diet plan is helping your health as well. I understand that GERDs is no fun.

My husband has GERD as well, and the diet has really helped him a lot. But he's as heavy as I am, so while he can miss a dose of his meds here and there, he still needs to lose more before he will be better (and can sleep in bed properly).
