Went to get his papers together, and realized we don't have a copy of his immunization records! So DH called the doctor's office, told them what he needed, plunked Jimmy in the car, and off they went.
The doctor's office couldn't FIND them! We had an appointment for the registration, so we went and did that, promising to drop the imm. records as soon as they were found. Jimmy's in full-day K, and it sounds wonderful. They have some wonderful things planned!
Got home, and there was a message from the doctor's office saying they had found the records, so made arrangements to pick them up, and an appointment for a physical and any boosters he might need.

I wish the school our kids will be going to was closer. The high school is only a few blocks away, the other elementary school is about a mile away, and this new one is about 3 miles away. I like that he will be going to a new school with all new equipment, but the other school has really good teachers (one is a National Teacher award recipient), has good programs, and is closer.
