Um, whats wrong with the casting? Call me uneducated, but interested.

It's just my opinion, but I think she was chosen for her looks, and her Mom's producing it, but as an actress, well, so far I don't see her as being regal, charismatic and strong enough to deal with portraying a Queen who went through the emotional upheavals Mary QoS went through.

Also, I think a French woman would do a better voice, since Mary was a French woman more than a Scots woman.

Maybe she may prove me wrong, and if so then she's improved as an actress. But so far, I've been unimpressed with her skills. I was hoping for a... better actress for this incredible role.

And just fyi, Mary QoS is one of my favorite people in history, from all those years of doing Scots at faire. I've read her story from many angles. Sad, pathetic creature she was at times, a martyr at the end, but a fascinating woman of her times.
