Today I remember the passing of my Mother to lung cancer. One year it has been since she slipped quietly into that good night, moving onto the next realm, and out of the intense pain she was suffering. One year, and so much has happened since

Five years since I lost my mom, to the same disease. She was only 57.

It gets better. A little anyway. Sometimes I still think of her and feel like someone just punched me in the stomach, but now sometimes I think of her and laugh. She was amazing.
