Shouldering the Burden

Pushed myself to shoulder press 60kg yesterday, so my shoulders were still slightly sore when I got out of bed this morning. Happy that I have finally hit that weight on the shoulder press, after years of trying. Will try to increase the number of sets at 60kg to four in the future ( Read more... )

Wah! amazing u can push so much without a gym buddy :P

Wish u were in gym to push me too hehehehe calling me fat won't help, putting weight on me will lor.

I have always wanted to shoulder press 60kg, so it is something that I have been pushing myself to do. Anyway, I always push myself to try more, if I am feeling energetic or if the weights seem manageable. Perhaps it is just me, I do not cut myself any slack... :P

this is 60kgs in total right? Sounds do-able =P

on a side note, you have to watch out for the shoulders because they might pop.

Yeah, 60kg is the Olympic bar, plus 20kg on each side. I know it is do-able, but I have always put it off due to my lousy lower back.
