yeah, all I know he is a starter for Kaiserslautern. I wonder who he is "replacing" -- not the right word but you know what I mean. I think it could be expensive. :/

Not sure; from what I heard, it was more about him not getting much playing time, but injury could have played into that. :( Disappointing for sure; I was looking forward to seeing him play more than just a few minutes at the end of games.

Yeah, I'm all for more Germans migrating here, but I really hope we don't have to move a DP to make room for him or anything. I feel like if we get him, he might be a good rotation for Rosales or Evans? I love Mauro, but he hasn't looked good at all this season and I'm a little worried for him.

I hope we don't. I feel like getting rid of youth for an older player shouldn't cause a DP situation unless it is someone like Rosales, which I don't think he is. Hopefully that makes sense. I am tired and can't write or comprehend things right now :/

This is just speculation, but I feel like Mauro seems to be scared that he'll get injured again, which might be part of what's affecting his play. :( Which is really, really sad and I want to give him a hug because that is a completely logical issue to worry about. At the same time...it's not one a player can afford to constantly worry about either.

There are rumors that this would coincide with Flaco moving WHICH I WOULD HATE AND CANNOT HAPPEN. I hope it's not going to come to that though. =(
