Feeling pretty fortunate to have been able to go to the match! Managed to talk a scalper outside down to a reasonable price ($100-150 per ticket? Pffft) and scored some great seats next to a couple other Sounders but too close to the Timber Army for comfort, haha. Not that it mattered much 'cause towards the end of the match our little group was much louder then that whole section ( ... )

I'm really glad that he decided to come out of his slump yesterday! Earlier would have been nice, but at least he lived up to the "Decades of Dominance" tifo. That Neagle->Rosales->Montero was wonderful.

Seriously? classy. and stupid move. Who wastes expensive stadium beer? :P I have been hearing some ridiculous/lame after-match of the Timber fans. Sorry you got beer thrown at you :)

Yeah, a little more somethin' somethin' would've been nice in the first half. I was kind of nervous there for a second, but the last 45 minutes had me hanging on the edge of my seat. Rosales had such a killer game!
Decades of Dominance > King of Clubs. Still fail to see how that was relevant.
And I know! I just laughed it all off. Lots of butt-hurt wankery after the match in the stadium but it is what it is. We woooonnnn :) Still can't stop smiling, felt damn good to win that one.

My hatred grew more towards the Portscum after some of the comments that I lip-read when Jhon Kennedy Hurtado went down. Something to the effect of "Get that n*gger off the field" made me rage, any type of common grounds of being a supporter in the MLS was lost with that scum.

I however thought the better team one, and I feel like we EARNED this win. I'm proud of our boys who gave their all and didn't give up when we went behind twice.

On a side note, I was at the bar watching this (i'm in Utah btw) and was shushed by the bartender when I started yelling at the tv before the ref decided to give that guy a red. I was in a sports bar and got shushed! Just thought it was funny. Also I got my birthday wish of a win against Portscum on their own turf!

THREE OF A KIND TRUMPS THE KING OF CLUBS EVERY TIME.
(In all seriousness though, their tifo was nice, but not incredibly special.) Loved the ECS banners and their own tifo. ;)

Anyway, I managed to drag my jet-lagged self out of bed in time to see the US beat Brazil on PKs and for the derby game. Three goals, three points, Portland red card, second place in the west, OH YEAH! I'm still buzzing happily over the win.
