Uh, what's your understanding of remixes? I'm not sure how it would defeat the purpose of a lyricwheel. I think there are ways lyricwheels and remixes could work together. I'm pretty sure one of the LWs I've been using as a "template" has done a remix challenge.
I have a couple ideas of how a sslyricwheel remix challenge could be run. One of them is that authors are assigned the way we assign lyrics or that the participants have to pick an sslyricwheel fic to remix.
Well, one of the ideas I was tossing around was that the authors could pick a fic, say "Skid" by candle_beck and the lyrics she used, and use that in their rewrite.
