There is a bit of desperation in that message. It sounds like he's not getting traffic and wants to encourage you to be a daily visitor. If it was a busy site he wouldn't want so much traffic.

I cannot recommend any other sites like this because I don't use them. Perhaps I'm missing out but I just don't think I would benefit.

I like BearCiti, but I don't think there's much of a European userbase there - one of those chicken-and-the-egg problems. I also like BearForest.

Frankly, I wish Bear411/EuroWoof/BearWorld's servers would die in a fire. Along with all the backups. ;)

I haven't logged onto 411 in a year and I get these messages every couple of weeks. I ignore them. There is also Bear Front. But I've thought of going back to 411 because I've got friends there that aren't anywhere else.
