So as it turns out, the mysterious appointment I was supposed to go to yesterday was, in fact a DENTAL APPOINTMENT. The dental clinic is on the third floor of the main clinic, but I mean... all the email said was 'go to the 18th Medical Group tomorrow'. Real specific. So they called me at work and we like, "Hey, you had an appointment yesterday",

In that situation, I would have just admitted to saying the wrong floor. Or I would've waited until she was out of site, and then gotten back on the elevator. Then again, I'm not a smooth one.

On the dental clean-up thing, yeah, that's the popular thing to do now; try to cut all of the surrounding gum line off of the patient's teeth. It's not supposed to be there, y'know. It makes perfect sense for them to take metal to our flesh.

my worst dental ordeal was when the tech who's cleaning slips and I see my blood splatter on the little paper towel thing they put around your neck....OUCH, my gum was very mad :/I don't mind other peoples blood, but my own *shudder* then she proceeds to wipe the bloody hook-like tool on the paper towel....ever since then I go to the dentist with all the happiness of a hairless cat in the artic :P
