I swear you are my long-lost twin. :) When I found out that Netflix streamed Cosmos, I did a little happy dance. I so wish there were someone alive today, getting laymen interested in science the way that he did.

Hee... I think you may be right! :D

I love Cosmos so very much. Can't wait to share with the kiddo the first time when he's old enough.

And if you feel like a good weep, listen to the first segment of this wonderful RadioLab episode where Annie Druyan talks about how they fell in love, while working on the Voyager record. (Whole podcast is great, too -- that's one of my favorite shows, though I haven't had a chance to listen in a long time.)

I sat at my desk and cried listening to that podcast in lab one day. They had something quite special, plus I'm a sucker for the Voyager story and all that old space stuff. Have you ever seen the series From the Earth to the Moon?
