Observer Fail

Having a job in a library on a Sunday means I can't fail to come across all the sections of most of the Sunday Papers as I stamp them with the "please, please don't nick this paper" stamp and while doing so I was extremely vexed yet unsurprised by the Observer Woman magazine this month. hello,
hope you will be able to make it to book club on the 28th - we're reading Cunt by Inga Muscio.

There was a meeting about representations of women in the media and the group were unsure if you knew about this meeting? The next meeting will be on the 30th September at Kino. Sue was wondering if you were interested in doing a project about periods and "sanitary protection" advertising??

I find it hilarious and extremely infuriating at the same time that having completely agreed with everything you wrote in this post, that no more than 20pixels below the last line is an advert to "cut 35lbs of stomach fat per month by obeying this 1 old rule."

that's weird actually Luke because when I view my journal I don't see any adverts - wonder where that came from?
