It's been a REALLY long time since I rec'd a fic. I don't get a chance to read as much as I used to, unfortunately. Anyway, for the past several weeks, I've been wanting to read a really good hurt/comfort. But not just any hurt/comfort. An old-timey hurt/comfort. With magic and stuff

Thanks so much for the rec shug. I had seen this listed somewhere, probably on the hgss_digest, but these days I hesitate to start a WIP without having a rec or some idea what I'm getting into. Plus for awhile I had so many WIPs I couldn't keep the stories straight, when one would update, especially if the updates were slow in coming, I often have to go back and re-read the last few chapters just to figure out where I was.
So many fics--so little time. :) *sigh*

I definitely understand about cutting back on WIPs ... especially for those slow updaters (like me *coughs*). ;)

Ooops! I wasn't pointing any fingers, really! And I wasn't thinking of you.
But there were a few I started that went strong for a while then updates just petered out and start coming like once every six or eight months apart. It's hard to even remember what the story was about.

Yes, I'm following a few fics that I began reading when I first discovered SS/HG four years ago. *blinks* I guess as long as I don't take that long, I"ll be okay ....

Yes, I liked that, too. I remember reading similar stories a long time ago, but this one twists it just enough to be fresh. At least for me anyway! LOL I enjoyed it!

I like how it's a twist on a common theme too....I'll probably start reading it again soon, I just have a lot of WIPs I'm reading now and it's starting to frustrate me lol I need an ending to something!
