Note: Dear nocturnus33, I hope you like this interpretation of your prompt. The French-ness may be a bit surprising, but as far as I'm aware, the playing cards we use originate in France, and it seemed to fit my mood while drawing. I used a variety of felt tip pens, some glitter gel pens, crayons, metallic gold/silver paint pens, gold leaf, adhesive jewels, glue, and seed beads. Sadly, the scans don't really bring out the shiny bits. :( Thank you for the prompt - I had a lot of fun answering it!
