I've only seen them called "Samoas", never "Samosas".

It occurs to me that there is a slight possibility that the misnomer did not initially smack me upside the head because I am familiar with the term, as it is the name of one of my favorite Indian dishes -- lamb samosa. However, now that you have caused me to revisit the word, I realize that you are correct. The Girl Scout cookies are not the same as the Indian appetizer. I can only disclaim that I did not write the quiz, and therefore am not to blame for the error. ;)

I am, however, now craving the aforementioned lamb samosa, as it is one of my favorite treats of Indian cuisine.
