Writing styles

As some of you might have known, I participated in a short-story writing competition organized by Jia Effendie, for she was to compile 12 short stories into a book which will be called "Singgah" (to stop by, to transit). actually i want to tell you the things that you said in this post earlier, but i forgot it my self, so i am sorry for that things, it might help before.

one day i read a book about how to write by one Indonesian novelist, and she said exactly that thing that you wrote, or in term you used, exaggerating way to describe things. But she said that way is not necessary to be applied in all things that you wrote. it don't necessary to describe that everyone know about. that way will be helpful to describe something that unique that the reader may not have experienced it.

of course your writing style is fine, and it will be better if you out your recently learned lesson (i mean your post) into your writing.

the purpose of writing is to tell a reader what happen in writing, what the story is about, and how the character feel in the story, the more you can say about the story, the better the reader interpretation of your story will be, and the more they understand the story,

*just ignore this comment, just smarty pants reader comment, and i never publish any writing, lol :)
