Author’s Note: I believe I have gathered Jeti fans as the majority of my readers are asking for Jeti. I do have a handful of Taeny fans and those few Taengsic shippers. How about we all get along in these next few chapters? ;)

On a side note, if anyone has any title suggestions, or if “Triangle” seems the best, let me know.

Tiffany rolled her shoulders, hoping to get rid of the ache in her back. It was a long day at work and she wouldn’t mind a cup of cappuccino right now. She glanced at the digital numbers in the bottom right hand corner of her computer screen. The tired girl took note that she could have clocked out of work fifteen minutes prior. As she stood to her feet, Tiffany could not be happier to get out of work.

Once she swiped her card and walked into the elevator, a small smile graced her face. It was that time of the week where she’d meet with Taeyeon at the park just to catch up.  They were best friends first before lovers and they came to an agreement to just be friends though Taeyeon would sometimes push her limits.

The eye-smiling brunette reached the park to find Taeyeon waiting for her. Taeyeon was sitting on their bench; the same one she kissed her on all those months ago. Tiffany never felt so conflicted when she received that kiss. It was everything that she had dreamed of when Taeyeon first left her but things had changed.

“Taetae?” she greeted in question as she took in her attire. Taeyeon was almost always in some gym outfit. Today, it was basketball shorts and a tight sweater. The weather was getting colder and Tiffany recalled Taeyeon wearing a sports bra when they first met again after being separated.

A grin covered Taeyeon’s features, “Ah, Miyoung-ah. I got something for you.”

In her hand was a hot cup of cappuccino; exactly what Tiffany was craving, “Thank you, Taetae. You always know what I want.”

The grin on Taeyeon’s face grew and her eyes twinkled in merriment before nodding her head towards the walking trail. Tiffany smiled and walked alongside the slightly shorter girl as she took a sip from the cup. The pair remained silent as they walked through the park, enjoying each other’s presence.

She knew that talking to Taeyeon was cheating in Jessica’s eyes. Tiffany remembered Jessica begging her not to see Taeyeon anymore but she couldn’t grant that request. Taeyeon was her best friend, just like Jessica. The brunette knows it’s a bit difficult because her heart still beats at an irregular, fast pace whenever she sees Taeyeon. However, she would never leave Jessica. Things were…complicated.

Tiffany pulled up in their house’s driveway and took in a deep breath. It was difficult to just stay friends with Taeyeon but she still loved Jessica. Jessica, the girl who’s been with her these past years, three of those years as her lover, and she wouldn’t change a thing about that. Jessica took care of her and she did the same.

The brunette walked out of her car and towards the main door. She unlocked it and slid inside, alerting her girlfriend of her return home.

“Tiff, baby?” Jessica’s voice drifted in from the living room.

“Hey, Jessi,” Tiffany said as she joined her lover onto the couch. It felt great to come home to a beautiful girlfriend. She leaned over and gave her a sweet kiss. What was intentionally supposed to be a quick kiss became much deeper. Tiffany’s hand rested on her girlfriend’s collarbone while Jessica placed her hand against her cheek. They held each other in place as their tongues began to massage each other.

Their lips smacked together and Tiffany could begin to feel her lungs start to burn. They pulled back and Jessica let her hand slide from Tiffany’s face, down her arm, and finally down to her hand where they intertwined their fingers. She was in rather deep thought about Taeyeon but just shook it off. It was time for dinner anyway.

Tiffany’s thumb had unconsciously been rubbing the back of Jessica’s hand, and she only noticed once she pulled away her hand.

“I’ll prepare dinner tonight,” she said as she let go of Jessica’s hand.

It pained her when she was with Taeyeon because could not act on her own feelings. She had a girlfriend, Jessica, whom she loved with all her heart. Tiffany could not explain it in words but she loved them both. Sadness seemed to engulf her spirit when she thought that someone was going to get hurt. She didn’t want to just choose one. Was it selfish of her? Taeyeon was her first love and her first heartbreak. Jessica was her support and her giving lover.

“Tiff…”

Tiffany could hear her lover’s soft voice as she was rifling through the cabinets for a pan, “Yes, Jessi?”

Her mind began to wander again. This was something Jessica normally would do, but ever since Taeyeon came back into her life, Tiffany found herself getting lost in thought a lot.

“Gwenchanayo?”

A small smile graced Tiffany’s features. Jessica was always worried about her and she didn’t feel like she needed to worry Jessica anymore with Taeyeon. She walked over to her girlfriend and kissed her forehead gently. Tiffany gave her a nod, indicating she was okay before returning back to the task at hand. It truly was hard but she couldn’t control her heart. They say you can’t help whom you fall for but does that apply in this case? She fell for both of them.

Tiffany let herself get distracted by focusing more on their dinner. The refrigerator was opened and vegetables were pulled out, very careful that she didn’t pull out any cucumbers. She washed the vegetables and began cutting them once she found the cutting board.

“Tiff…” Jessica’s voice cut through the air again except this time it sounded a bit broken.

Her girlfriend stood there with a serious look on her face, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears, “About Taeyeon…”

“Taeyeon?” Tiffany asked with a confused tone. She placed the knife on the counter and turned to face Jessica fully. “You know I only meet with her to catch up.”

Jessica shook her head as a tear slid down her cheek, “How can I stay with you if I can’t keep you happy? It hurts but this is for the best.”

The brunette’s eyebrows furrowed together in bewilderment. What was she talking about? Her girlfriend was talking nonsense. She could feel her heart sinking.

“She was your first love, I understand,” Jessica said bravely. Taeyeon would forever be etched in Tiffany’s heart. She understood that Tiffany wouldn’t be able to live without her Taetae.

Tiffany shook her head and took a step closer to her girlfriend, “No, Jessi. You don’t.”

Jessica stood her ground even though it was breaking her apart, “You don’t have to stay with me.” Why would she stay if Tiffany always came home with a depressed look after seeing Taeyeon on a weekly basis?

“Stop it, Jessi,” Tiffany was starting to get furious. She reached an arm out for Jessica.

The blonde took a step back and shook her head, “Just go.”

“Jessi…” Tiffany’s hand remained hanging in the air.

The tears that were slowly slipping down began to increase, “I could never compete with her.”

Tiffany had had enough with her girlfriend who refused to listen, “Dammit! Just shut up and listen.”

“I know you still love her,” Jessica whispered.

“I love you,” Tiffany grabbed Jessica’s forearms and pulled her close, their lips meeting in a bruising kiss.

Lips met again and again. It was as if they were going to tear each other apart. Tiffany’s arms slid around Jessica’s back while Jessica’s went around Tiffany’s shoulders. Saliva and tears were tasted and they finally broke apart. Jessica’s face was stricken with tears and she tried to push Tiffany away who refused to let go.

“You don’t deny that you still love her,” she said as she applied pressure to Tiffany’s shoulder.

Tiffany shook her head, “I don’t want to lie to you. I do still love Taeyeon.”

The pressure from Jessica’s hand increased as she tried shoving Tiffany away, “Then go be with her! I’ll let you go if she makes you happy. I just want you to be happy.”

“That doesn’t mean I don’t love you.”

The pushing stopped for a second, “What do you mean?”

“I love you, Jessi,” she kissed her again.

“No, you don’t. You love Taeyeon,” Jessica tried to back away.

“I love you, Jessi,” another kiss.

“Stop lying to me,” Jessica’s reply was getting weaker.

“I love you, Jessi,” Tiffany gripped Jessica’s wrist as she kissed her.

Jessica shook her head and whispered brokenly, “Why can’t I be enough?”

Tiffany tilted Jessica’s chin up and looked into her eyes. She slowly wiped away Jessica’s tears and gave her another kiss. The kiss was slow and gentle, Tiffany made sure to take her time and convey her love for Jessica.

“I’m sorry, Jessi. I can’t explain it but I love you both. I know it’s confusing but don’t forget that I love you. I can’t live without you, Jessi. I can’t,” Tiffany said with conviction, her voice cracking a bit.

Before Jessica could say anymore, Tiffany captured her lips in a tight embrace. She pulled back, their foreheads still resting against each other. Her hands slipped underneath Jessica’s shirt, her cold hands stroking the skin there.

“I will never leave you, Jessi. Why? Because I love you. Will I leave you Jessi?” Tiffany asked as her hands continued exploring.

“N-no,” Jessica said in a whisper.

“Why?” she pressed her hands against Jessica’s back, bringing her even closer to her body.

Jessica looked down to the side, “Because you love me.”

“Why again?” Tiffany lowered her head to make eye contact with her girlfriend.

“Because you love me,” Jessica said in a louder tone.

“That’s right, and don’t forget it. I love you, Jessica Jung Sooyeon. And just to remind you how much I love you,” Tiffany’s hand slid up behind Jessica’s shirt and unbuttoned her bra clasp, the other slipped underneath her pajama shorts.

A small gasp, “T-Tiff.”

And let us cut it off there! I think it’s a great place to cut the chapter in half. Hahaha. Although I’m sure some of you would have preferred a more rated scene or for me to post up the whole chapter. But I shall keep you waiting. BWAHAHAHA! Sorry, tell me what you think. :)

Also, sorry for the not-so-great image. :P

Let’s learn something about this author. This may be my first fic on AFF but the first fic I ever wrote was ten years ago. Which I just realized when I looked on FFN. Hahaha.
