[ Char has adjusted quite well to life aboard the White Chalice. It was relatively peaceful, and his two room-mates were fairly easy to get along with... well, so long as Asuka was calm, and her attention-seeking was limited to harmless fun ( Read more... )

[ Lucchini was up in the catwalks near the hangar ceiling, one hand trailing down as she watched. Seeing the man and the machine he was watching she grinned a little working her way down so she could land right behind him with catlike stealth. ]

What kind of machine is that?

[ Woah, where did you come from? Char looks down at the loli, and smiles. ]

This is an MSN-02 Zeong. It's finally completed, and they even painted it to my specifications.

[ Easy she's a ninja! ]

Oh, doesn't look like it would be that maneuverable in a fight.

Looks are deceiving.

[ Char laughed, though. Perhaps on land, it'd be sluggish. ]

I piloted another version of this particular mobile suit before. It was one of the fastest I've ever used.

[[Just going for a walk. Well, after making sure her Striker was still in top performance.]]

Ahh, Commander Aznable. This is your machine?

Indeed it is.

[ He greets his roommate with a nod. ]

It is, for the most part, a replica of the mobile suit I used at A Baoa Qu, only completed and given a custom paint scheme.

Was there a reason it wasn't finished before? [[Why would you use an unfinished one?]]

Simply put, they didn't have time to finish it before the Federation attacked. But it was perfectly functional; it doesn't need legs in space.

[Click. You've got a Tsukasa taking a photograph. Not that it matters but still. He looks up and raises a hand in greeting.]

Yo.

[ He's seen fans do weirder things before. He doesn't pose, but he looks in your direction. ]

Good evening.

[Fortunately for his sake, Tsukasa has NO idea who you are Char. That's gotta be a first, right?]

Quite the machine. Is it yours?

It is. Or at least, it is now. They'll be bringing the paperwork over tomorrow morning to officially declare me the owner.

...Oho.

[Someone is currently just working on a white-colored Gespenst just nearby, and can't help but be interested by Char's work.]

Impressive, isn't it?

[ Char says, turning back towards the on-looker. ]

I wasn't aware the White Chalice could perfectly replicate Zeon technology.

...you can say that again.

[He can't help but return the man's gesture with a smile.]

Shiro. Mercenary for hire, and I definitely didn't expect to meet The Red Comet here.

A pleasure to meet you. Char Aznable, though I'm guessing you already knew my name.

[Setsuna staring at something silently is not a terribly unusual sight on the White Chalice by this point. He may seem even more distracted than usual by the Zeong, if that's even distinguishable.]

[ Char looks back, and notices, of course. ]

I'm impressed by their work as well. They even included the psycommu system.

...It's on par with a modern Gundam, isn't it?

The original, unfinished version of this Mobile Suit was the Suit that finally destroyed the Gundam. Though I'm lead to believe that the Gundam has since been mass-produced.
