[It's the middle of the night on the Chalice, still at Gucun for the moment.  A guest came onboard the vessel today as well, Hana and Mad's grandmother Professor Himesaki.  There hasn't exactly been a heartwarming reunion just yet though... instead the woman's been in discussion with Ayame and Maxene... late into the night even

[Mad was curled up on the floor of her room, the modified RioTrooper belt clutched tightly in her hands as she dozed on in a fitful sleep.]

[When she heard that Professor Himesaki was on board she did everything she could to avoid the old woman, clearly uncomfortable at the prospect of meeting her to the point of exhaustion.]

[Mad's just staring at the cape on the ground, her hand tight on the grip of her weapon.]

...He said he did something else... what the hell was he talking about?

[Dan suddenly gets very serious looking and trying to think...]

I... don't know. He could've been on the ship for any period of time before he tried to do... whatever he did with you. Maxene would probably be able to figure it out if she watched my footage in reverse, doing... however she knows and figures out the things she does.

[Mad's just giving you a baneful glare here Ayame. She complies, but clearly she hates having to do it.]

I'm going to the Hangar. There's too much shit to deal with here.

[She's going to storm off now. No Ayame. Mad is unlikely to ever show you any respect.]

[She was about to round on the Professor and call her a liar - but... something rung a chord here. Mostly because she used her name. HER name. Not Nadeshiko.]

[Mad does her best to look her grandmother in the eyes... she fails and quickly walks away. She needed space to breath.]
