1)[Mad's been getting as much practice in as she could with the Dom Tropen she borrowed from the masses of the Hangar. She's been doing her best to take it easy as much as possible due to the vaguely familiar controls... but the sheer desire to run before she could walk was all but gnawing at her

[Seeing the Dom Tropen jetting around outside, Resnick goes into the hangar, climbs in to his mech's cockpit and turns on the comm.]

If I were in your position? I would not have engaged at that range in the first place. A mech like the dom tropen is not built for a brawl. I would have used those unusual jump jets to take the high ground and snipe carefully, to conserve some of that ammo. Then if my opponent wants to catch me, they have to advance uphill, or call in assistance from artillery or aircraft, which is forbidden by zelbriggen. It is not an exciting way of winning but it uses your mech's capabilities more efficiently.

Yeah but sometimes we can't pick where we wanna fight. So what if you get stuck in a brawl with something like the Dom?

Use the jump jets and pray for a shot at the back armor. [As he just did.] Or...[There's an almost inaudible catch in his voice. He remembers his sibkin's scream. Glasstic shattering in a sharp rain.] ...a physical attack, but only for the most dezgra of foes.

Right. Makes sense... don't think I'll be doing any smacking with this damn thing though.... need the arms for the guns and the heat saber it has may as well be a fucking tooth pick.
