1. [Dita's crying in the hangar, curled up in her dread. Come bother her?]

2. [Much later]

[Dita's working on cooking. She has a tear-stained cheeks but she's making food. Each bento is labeled for her friends. Is... she making a goodbye gift for everyone?]

Sure. [She slides one over towards Char, and its personalized with little orange carrots sliced into the design of Char's wings.]

Char... it's... the Harvesters, they came back... and they brought a mothership which got away!

I'm not sure what a Harvester is, but you should know better than anyone else here that if anyone can stop them, it's us.

I just worry... because we might be heading home after this. And we'd leave everyone behind. What if they come back?

[And on top of the dread, there is a bounty hunter, sitting. She looks at Dita calmly, with a neutral expression]

You are worried about these harvesters. [It wasn't a question, really]

[Dita hurriedly wiped her tears.] Y-yes I am.

[chozo_girl]

[Samus simply waits patiently for Dita to wipe her tears if she so wishes. Wordlessly, she directs a very obvious questioning look at her. She wants to know her thoughts on this all before speaking - Dita has faced dangerous enemies before without breaking, so why now?

There's no pressure coming from her, however. Just... calm and certainty. Samus is not stressed or scared, at the news]

It's... because we found out why they were here. Where they were from. It's the Earth from our time, preying on of the Earth of now. They live in terrible conditions in the future, and sent ships, the harvester fleet to harvest humanity for organs, skin, blood and reproductive organs.

And we kept it from everyone...!

[Yeah, she knows. And she wants to hug him for being there for her. So she does.]

We'll make it through this, don't worry. [[That was much more likely. Earth and it's people, from any given time, were pretty tough.

I just can't help but think that this is our fault, bringing them here...

[A decided lack of seeing Dita after her mission worries Chrono a bit; his search eventually brings him to Dita's Dread with a worried expression.]

Dita... what happened out there? I've never seen you like this, and that bothers me.

Chrono... [And she threw her arms around him.] I'm just... it's terrible. The harvesters are here and we knew it would happen and yet...!

[It's a testament to how far Chrono's come that he doesn't immediately recoil to escape; he tenses for a moment but eases up just after.] Slow down, Dita. I need you to explain. What are the 'Harvesters', and what are they doing? And why can't we just break through them against all reason, like all of us normally do? [And why is this normal to me!?]

[Dita sniffled and pulled back a little.] They're... from the Planet Earth, 100 years from now. They're here to harvest humanity for their organs, skin, blood, spinal cords, even reproductive organs. They need it to survive.

We discovered this a while ago while working on a way to decode their primary objective... And they've killed countless colony worlds in their quest to remain alive...!
