[In the aftermath of that HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE supply pickup gone wrong, Julia's in the hangar, looking up at the battered and one-armed form of her Corona.  A lot of serious stuff happened out there, and not just involving Cheng and that girl who ended up healing her hand...well, somewhat.  She's still in a cast for it, but for a sprain, not a break

... We... got attacked. By Christine and some other pilots.

And I found out Herrera Futuristics's been bought out by a rival company. And that company's involved with a group of xenophobes too.

... And then there's all the stuff that happened afterwards when that girl broke her contract with Cheng. If it wasn't for Dita, we might not have beaten him.

That explains all of those strange actions then by them....are you alright?

Sprained this though. It's... a long story.

But yeah, Christine and I fought. And the Solstice is really something impressive... but Christine was a really lousy pilot. Not as bad as I was when I first started using the Corona, but still pretty lousy.

Though there was that thing that happened in the end...

No. I'm... not. A lot of stuff happened out there, bad things. My company's been taken over, I don't know what's happened to Mr. Herrera, and the new company mascot tried to kill me after she said too much and had to cover her tracks.

And then on top of that, well, there's everything that happened with Cheng.

A lot of things. For starters, I met Christine.

... And I can say with absolute certainty, she'll never join us.

[This is not the face of questioning whether or not she will join. This is the face of questioning why Julia is so determined about it.]

She hates me... for stupid reasons. She's too caught up in this whole mascot business, and wants me completely out of the picture; not even piloting or doing anything. I dunno, maybe she thinks I'm trying to compete with her but it's just ridiculous.

And on top of it all, she tried to kill us after she had a slip of the tongue.

How could anyone go out with such a weak machine?

But it's the only machine in existence I can actually use! It just... wasn't actually meant for fighting.

Because it can still fight well enough that I can get by with it. The more I grow as a pilot the stronger it becomes, and the more creative I get, the more effective even its harmless internal weapons become.
