[Suddenly! A rogue Gundam mk II appears on the field of (simulated) battle, blasting away with its beam rifle. None of the shots are aimed at Straybird, but it doesn't matter because hardly any connect with anything anyway.]

So that's how a heavier mobile suit feels like!

[That voice...

He may be letting out his frustrations here, but it doesn't stop him from asking.]

...Is it that much different than what you're used to?

Mine's a close-combat dodger. This Gundam's still pretty light, being a modern mobile suit and all - but I can feel the difference.

Good. This simulation won't stop until the enemies are cleared...

[On cue, a giant blue Mobile Armor shaped like a spider spawns in the center of the simulated map (which, for simplicity's sake, is a grassy field with little cover beyond some derelict buildings). Standing at least 70 meters tall, this unit is not an existing model, but here, it will deal and take damage all the same.

The Straybird immediately sets out to work, with Yuunagi being a lot more reckless than usual at the controls. The clone assaults and rapid attacks appear to be effective, that is, until the spider-like enemy manages to get a random swing of its leg to connect.

Just like that, the Straybird is sent crashing through a few buildings, and without wasting time, the hostile Mobile Armor attempts to finish it off with an Itano Circus of missiles!]

[There is a Genspenst present in the Simulation. It is now hurtling through the air wildly, crashing into almost everything. But somehow all of it seems to be on purpose, knocking debris into the path of shots, kicking up dust to obscure vison.

At one point it landed on top of a mobile armor and proceeded to repeatedly punch it in the head until the Genspenst's arm broke off and right into the MA's head and camera. Which was stomped on and sent deeper. The Personal Trooper surfed the thing down to the ground.]

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!

[Now this is something you don't see every day...

Since he can't see the person piloting this crazy Gespenst (and having not directly spoken to MICHAEL before), Yuunagi can only wonder who the heck it is. And he thought his own attacks were getting pretty reckless now...

So after that poor MA is effectively disabled (understatement, it should be destroyed or annihilated), he decides to hail the Gespenst; it did just lose an arm after all.]

...Are you alright?

Doing great! Don't worry 'bout me...

These Personal Troopers are a lot heftier than Metal Wolf!

[And several times bigger. But hey, who cares. Michael picked the Genspenst mostly because it resembled his machine a lot. He regards the stump that remained of the machine's lost arm.]

A lot more fragile too.

Someone else has deployed onto the field, in a huge, hulking Psycho Gundam!

The machine moves a bit awkwardly, but it's definitely faster than any seen on a previous mission. It's exploiting the size of the enemy MA: Firing off its finger lasers in a shotgun spread so that each beam hits. As the MA's attention is drawn to the Psycho, you get a comm call from the pilot.

"I've got it's attention! Now's the time to attack it's weak point...for MASSIVE DAMAGE!"
