[Kamina is sitting next to him. He points towards a cluster of stars near the horizon.]

Those ones look kinda like a molepig.

[He grabs Simon's head and tilts it over to one side a bit.]

Oh hey, but if you look at it THIS way it looks like a naked check bending over!

Did you let a cat walk over your keyboard?

"Wait, what is this little bubble doing here. And what are these weird symbols?"

[He types what he sees.]

Did you let a cat walk over your keyboard?

[And then it takes him a little while to figure out how to send it, but eventually he does!]

That was coherent for a change... Even if it was just the same thing I said.

Wait a second, aren't you the kid I fooled into thinking I'm dead?

You are not the first to think that. Many species looked up into the endless expanse of the universe, and wished to see reflections upon it.

[Wait, where did that voice come from? Turns out, standing atop the Chalice a little behind Simon is a massive blonde woman in blue, also apparently looking at the sky. She sounds calm, kinda meditative honestly]

What's the universe?

chozo_girl November 20 2011, 11:12:40 UTC
Everything. Everything that exists... and that which doesn't, but we cause to be, such as those shapes you see.

That is what we call "the universe". And it's really big. Bigger than most people can understand.

[She looks at Simon, with a small smile, and sits down, cross-legged, nearby]

Am I correct in guessing you have never left this planet?

You can leave the planet?

[Much amusement is had by shoutaro, who's standing nearby as the boy looks at the stars.] That? That's a star. It's something so far away, it's light can only be seen when the sun goes down.

Oh, yeah I know that. But there are so many of them, so they have to have names right? Or how would anyone tell them apart?

[Wow, you actually got him there, Simon.] Yeah, they have names... but I don't know any of them. [He only knows the big/little dipper constellations, and he can't even point those out.]
