"Lady Karn." Kamille was in a really good mood today. Not only had Devon and Laura came back like he thought they would, they didn't come back as freaky-eyefaced monsters! "And Lady Mineva, too. You seem to be enjoying yourselves." He debated on giving Haman the... tape of Lugar's debacle from some time ago to her, but decided against it, seeing it in bad taste. "That's a lovely dress you have there, Lady Mineva!" And he didn't even stutter on the word lovely! He was in the ZONE!
"Lady Karn... Thank you for letting me in." Kamille walked in, taking a seat where he could face the de facto leader of Axis. "I was initially going to give it some more time to think it over, actually, a couple of days at the least. However, it occured to me that in doing so, I'd be wasting my time twiddling my thumbs and doing a whole lot of nothing. I can't do much with the resources on hand to help my friends at the moment, but joining you would help me get around that."
He leaned forward, his hands steepled in front of his face. "Adventus is gone, yes, but I feel like we're experiencing the calm before a raging storm. The battle with that mobile city reminded me that there are still large conflicts occuring across the Earth Sphere, and that we're likely to get drawn into a lot of these battles."
He looked directly into Haman's eyes, his seriousness about his decision easy to read for his fellow Newtype. "What do you need from me in order to take me into the fold of Axis?"
It takes him a few moments of staring at the paper, before he nods at the woman before him. "I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that I will work to serve both Lady Mineva and Zeon to the best of my ability. You can count on me, Lady Haman." Now how to get Char to go along with this...
