1. [So you're going about your own business - eating, maybe having a workout or just sitting around. All's well, until you notice an object (or multiple objects) rising into the air nearby. The object(s) suddenly fall (with or without disastrous results), and Nanoha shows up a moment later, looking frantic ( Read more... )

I'd chastise you for not practicing in a shielded room, but I'm not sure it'd matter...

[More than the falling items, Chrono notices the the feel of Nanoha's magic all over this. He raises an eyebrow.] And just what are we developing today? Your track record has an amazing history of spells to destroy single targets and rapid controlled projectiles, but this looks like neither.

[Oh crap. Let the nervous laughter ensue.]

Chrono-kun...um...well...

[In the end, she lets out a defeated sigh.]

...It's a little something Raising Heart suggested to me a while ago.

You see, I was thinking that I could use a means of attacking besides relying only on my magic, so one solution is to use what's available wherever I am.

I've done some image training for it in my spare time, but it may be a little too advanced for me right now...

[A nod.] Yeah, that's not a bad idea. It might help with controlling your mana usage... And that's not something I think image training would help with.

Have you gotten it down with small quantities? Fewer, smaller items?

Well...that's a part of the problem...

When I try to lift one item, the others around it end up floating too...

...I don't know if that's your control, or just a hole in training, or... huh. In any case, you've got lift, so that's a start. Just having issues with the push at the end?

Yes.

And I don't think I should start shooting until I'm able lift only the items I want to lift.

[Chrono considers it for a moment, before laughing and throwing a wry smile at Nanoha.] Siege mage indeed. Why not use the spell like that? Pick up everything around you and throw it at something. It'd be a good attack against groups, and you might be able to overload a shield.

If we ever get a TSAB timeskip, she'll dynamic re-entry with this move... white_deviling March 18 2012, 22:07:29 UTC
[Light-bulb. Now that's something Nanoha can do!]

As expected of Chrono-kun!

I'm not really good at holding back, so I should go all out with this too!
