The mission "A Fierce Fight! Two Mazingers" was completed successfully.

Tokyo came under attack by Dr. Hell's Mechanical Monsters, and the EDF deployed to fight them. However, during the battle, enemy reinforcements arrived, and the monsters ultimately ended up capturing Mazinger Z, the pilder getting thrown away from the battle with Kouji in it. Dr. Hell's army retreated, Mazinger in tow.
Twelve hours later, the Beastman battleship Dai-Gunten entered Tokyo airspace. Viral defected back to the beastman army, boarding the Dai-Gunten as it launched an army of flying Gunmen to attack the EDF. At the same time, Mazinger Z returned, retooled by Dr. Hell and piloted by his lieutenant, Baron Ashura. However, in the middle of the fight, Kouji returned in a new mech, and destroyed Ashura Mazinger, while Gurren-Lagann absorbed a flying Gunmen to grow wings. It attacked the Dai-Gunten, dislodging one of its Levispheres and forcing it to retreat.

Special Notes
The Dai-Gunten's Levisphere has been installed in the Dai-Gurren battleship, and it is being reverse-engineered to be able to be incorporated into other Gunmen. Results are expected within two weeks.
For all future missions, Kouji Kabuto will be deploying in the Mazinkaiser.
