Mission: The Treize Assassination FAILED
As intelligence has now confirmed the survival of Trieze Kushrenada, the Trieze Assassination was unsuccessful due to an unexpected enemy.

Over the Pacific, the mechs were catapulted into the naval battle against resilient carriers and destroyers. Aries and Cancers were deployed, but despite superior numbers were deftly defeated.
Later during the battle a ground combat mobile suit, a Leo, was deployed, piloted by Zechs Marquise, the Lightning Count, who battled with Heero Yuy's Wing Gundam before escaping. In the mean while, Fei Fong Wong found Trieze Kushrenada in a destroyer when he stomped through several levels of the still floating ship. Unable to bring himself to kill the man with the Weltal, he went down on foot to fight with Trieze and a man assigned by the Solaris military to guard him, Ramsus. Though he defeated Ramsus, Trieze bested Fei; however, Kushrenada allowed Fei to leave.
The attack against the OZ fleet was largely victorious, but ironically the one surviving ship was the only enemy ship to escape the battle, able to escape due to the unexpected assault by mysterious machines, the Eviluders. The arrival of the Eviluders was followed by a small, man sized mechanical armor, which assisted in the new threat's defeat.
