As much as I hate to admit it... she's probably the first person I'd look to as well. I probably don't have to tell you, but if you'd like someone to look into the backgrounds of recent technical employees I'd be glad to help.

If there is a leak, which there could very easily be, my money's not on Latooni. The DC could have deliberately included her classmates just for the purpose of throwing suspicion on her.

It makes sense. Including them on a mission like that could run the risk of us finding out about them and incriminate Lat. If she were the traitor, this would throw her in the absolute worst position and make transfer of intel that much harder. But if we're victims of misdirection, then the real leaker's still running free and we could lose a loyal pilot.

I'm not saying leave stones unturned. Just don't get so focused on Latooni the the extent you ignore other leads or convince her that the DC might be a more welcome place.

Given the fact that ZAFT had ties to the previous DC, my programming ability, the fact that I am keeping myself separate from the command structure and the fact that the Freedom is a ZAFT mobile suit and the fact that I am not letting others look at it, I suppose I am also a suspect.

Thus I am willingly submitting myself for questioning.

Latooni is being questioned because of her history with the Neo DC training facility "The School," which also raised an unknown number of enemy pilots. She has the background to make a defection plausible, and the computer skills to pull off an inside job.
