Yeah, I pilot the Gundam Sandrock. It's the white, black, and yellow mech in the hanger.

A gundam?! WOW! You mean the one with the scythes!?

Why exactly is it called that?

That's the one. Though they're called shotels, not scythes. They're more circular than scythes are.

And the scientist who created Sandrock named it that because it's really well suited for desert fighting.

Oh I see, but I mean the name "gundam". There seems to be more than one type. What is a gundam really?

Oh that. It's because they're made of a special alloy called gundanium.

[srw_megaotaku]

Geez that helps What's gundamnium? Err I mean, what's special about it?

Gundanium is a special metal that is incredibly difficult to damage. It's resistant to high heat and is also electrically neutral, so it can't be short-circuited by electricity traps.

It's not invincible though.

Hmmm, and it sounds man-made too. I gotta say, that's pretty good! Anti-short circuit and anti-heat? Hmmmmm!

Well, it's not totally anti-heat. It just has a higher melting point than all the other metals.

And it is man-made. Unfortunately, Gundanium is really rare as not many people know how to create it. It's also very expenisve to make, as it needs to be made in a Zero-G environment and with other extremely expensive tools.

Zero-G. You mean...these gundams...were made in space? Why? What's the purpose?

I'm not sure about the other Gundams that are here, but mine was to fight against OZ and to protect the Colonies.

It's short for the Organization of the Zodiac. They plan to take over the Earth and Colonies, by any means necessary.

How come I never heard of em? Lemme guess, they're newly formed or some convert shadow organization like in the comics, right?

Man, how cliche is that?!

They were a secret organization that went public recently.

And even though it may be cliche, they've managed to become a major threat that needs to be stopped.
