[After yesterday's snow storm, it's far too cold to be outside, but Sam is sitting under a tree with a book, a simple hoodie his only real protection from the cold. Rain was wandering about enjoying the day before heading back to her house in the woods. Given that her own backpack was stocked full of books, she always enjoyed seeing other people who enjoyed reading as well.

Sam didn't recognize the voice, so he glanced up a bit warily, but saw the way she smiled and relaxed.

"Depends on how much you like lore, I guess. You couldn't pay my brother all the money in the world to read a book like this," he joked with a small grin.

Her reaction surprised him, and it showed on his face. The only other person he'd ever met that was that excited about lore was Dawn. "Wow. Well, in that case, it's..pretty good."

[Sam begrudgingly has one arm into the coat when he notices the bag Dean pulls out. So that's what this is all about. He shakes his head with a laugh and pulls the rest of the coat on before taking his gift.]
