Do you think this is a fun campaign? I've been running the 1st-level delve for a few guys at work and am looking for something I can use straight out of the box with no messing about once we finish it. I though Chaos Scar might fit the bill!

I can't say for sure since I haven't been reading them, but we had a pretty good time playing the first one. The background interests me. If you have a DDI subscription, you're already getting it, so no additional cost.

I think the plan is to have most of the adventures be slightly longer than a delve- four combat encounters and a skill challenge for Stuck in the Mud, which took us about 4.5 hours.

Chaos Scar also fits in with the DDI plan for more content per month- two adventures went up in October, there's two more on the schedule for November. And unlike a full Adventure Path, there's not an obligation to run every single one.

So, I'd say check it out: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.aspx?x=dnd/duad/chaosscar Gives you the background, the map, and links to the current adventures.
