 I wish that my more recent posts (particularly on Twitter) were leaning towards happiness; lately, they haven’t been, and part of me is ashamed for it; of course I don’t deny that every person has hardships and that everyone feels gloomy sometimes, but I feel like people were drawn to me because of my bright deportment and optimistic stance on ( Read more... )

Thank you for saying that 8) It's difficult for me to follow my heart sometimes, because I don't really usually like to make decisions like that... but, then, so, all I have to do is get my mind to agree with it, you know? X]

I'm going to agree that if you're making the choice to graduate later because you want to continue doing something you're passionate about - DO IT! There's nothing wrong with that. You're not taking longer due to shitty grades, you're taking longer because you have a passion about something. That's ADMIRABLE.

I'm sure your debate team adores the hell out of you. You haven't had a lot of time to debate now, but the year is still young. It's only February. Don't give up hope on something so early. Keep fighting! You'll do great and make that 19 year old you proud, and the 21 year old you proud to have been the 20 year old you.
