Sadly, it is a leak coming through the plaster from the ceiling above, so we have no access to it ourselves. I finally got in touch with my superintendent, but the earliest they can do anything about it is tomorrow because the upstairs neighbors need 24 hours notice before the suite can be entered. Plus our supers are generally slow to respond to anything, so I expect it to be done around the time that I refuse to pay the rent. Grrrrr....
Gah, that sounds like something that would happen here!
Dath is right; bathroom disasters are the worst... here's hoping you get a pleasant surprise and the super shows up in a timely manner... while Manta is wearing pants.
Further explanation is on my other blog. Basically I am sick of living in a place where the landlords don't give a rat's ass about their tenants. Right now I have plastic bags hanging from my ceiling with duct tape trying to hold back the (thankfully clear and colourless) water that was pouring from my ceiling this morning. The downpour has slowed, but it still looks like the toilet upstairs could crash down on one of us during what would probably be a very inopportune moment.

I've seen evidence of you two being pretty handy; I hope this is something you can get under control relatively quickly and painlessly.

Hahah, no, no, the only thing we're handy at is taking photos of ourselves holding tools to impress random lesbians on the Internet.

In the meantime, sorry that happened...
