News:

1. Exams are over (I hope I don't have to repeat any of them).
2. New layout. Still fixing a few things.
3. New graphics' community. Nothing posted yet, but I'm full of ideas.
4. Addicted to a new (at least to me) series (but nothing will ever replace the series).
5. Editing my Read more... )

Porto. This is only our second parade, but it's great that people are trying to stand up for themselves and fight for what they believe in.

There were a few cameras and journalists there, and there are already a few articles on-line about it. Those who write about it are pretty fair and understanding, the problem is the whole mentality of the country and the firmly Christian mindset. Old people think it's outrageous and disgusting and most parents don't want to hear their children mention anything about it. That sort of thing takes a long time to change. This beliefs are present everywhere, even at college, which is supposed to be more open to new points of view.

*sigh* Yeah, I think that's true everywhere. At least we're seeing change, and more people in the general public becoming understanding in a way they didn't in previous decades.
