The Ghost and Captain Stottlemeyer is a fic near and dear to my heart. Alas, I'm afraid it will never be finished, because it was started around season three or four of Monk and the canon has long since outpaced the story in the Monk/Stottlemeyer relationship department: they're just so incredibly different now than they were then. It would take a pretty major effort to keep my brain in the mode of the earlier seasons. I do have a pretty thorough outline for the rest of the story, though, so who knows. Once the show ends next year, maybe I'll rewatch old eps and go back to it.
