My mum is now having a panic about the prospect of me even MAYBE going to japan. I have to remind her that i live in london and i could get murdered here too. Silly mummy.

after reading your entry I decided to go and read the BBC news site about it, and saw that her boyfriend has the same name as a guy who was in my year at school. Weird...so looked him up on facebook and saw they went to the same uni, so watched the news conference and saw that it is him! I mean, it was always totally horrible, but just makes it that bit more real I suppose when you have some sort of connection to it.

Just wanna drop a few lines before you head off for your spring break. Thank you for showing me around! It was so awesome!(probably not when the japanese all turned to me to speak first and realized that I could do nothing but smile back :P)
