oniisan (お兄さん)is the word you use to refer to someone else's brother.
ani (兄)is the correct word for your own brother.
but like english there's a lot of contractions in use. so aniki, ni-san and an-chan are used. "chan" is another honorific prefix like "san" that you tend to use when referring to someone younger than you; although most girlfriends stick "chan" on the end (so i'm frequently called melanie-chan) as a term of affection.
