You've got to live your life how you see fit, not how others envision it for you. I'm super proud of you and hopefully in a year or so we won't be so far apart. :)

GO YE FORTH!
You only live once. If Omaha isn't your scene, then by the gawds, leave it and never look back!

Yes, of course, your friends will miss you, but what kind of friends would really hold it against you if you sought to improve your station in life?

Communists, that's who.

I had this conversation yesterday with an old hippie in a head shop in the Haight.

"This whole red state, blue state thing... it's kind of funny. Think back. Historically, in a political context, what was the color red used to represent? Commies."

GOD I LOVE THE HAIGHT. And old hippies.

Either way, you're still welcome here.

(Did you really hear something that sounded like the TARDIS?)

yes! I don't know what it was but it kinda sounded like the TARDIS.

I was sad because it must have been leaving, like I was :(

I think you should do it, baby.

When in Omaha, half your life is involved with explaining everything about everything that you do/are. At least that particular hassle would be removed in CA, plus the benefit of finding more like-minded people.

Have you ever seen anything stop ME from up and moving when I really needed to? I'm a goddamn gypsy (hopefully retired for a while..lol)

love you*

Sometimes I wonder how the hell I ended up the way I am, considering where I was born and who my parents are.
