Mike and I got home late on Thursday night, and the trip was very non-exciting. A wake, a funeral, tons of family time, and tons of time on the road. So Mike and I saw the DaVinci Code movie last night after work and as Mike and I were talking about it Ebert-and-Roeper style after the lights came up, I stumbled onto a hypocrisy of the movie versus the book:

Mike and I just got back from seeing "MIssion Impossible III" and I went into the movie with wary expectations. For the first time in YEARS, Mike and I have all of our Christmas shopping done before the first party we have (the 23rd at his mom's). Mike, after a lot of driving around, bought the final present (a Ticketmaster g.c. for his 16 year old step-nephew), and I wrapped everything and it's done.
