This was really great. It was interesting to see Mohinder deal with a real job and a naggy boss who also happens to be hitting on him and planning out his future. I could feel Mohinder's frustration and weariness. Mira has no idea what he's been through, doesn't understand his reasons for coming back.
Assuming that little grave is Molly's, how sad. Mohinder tried to run from the pain, it didn't work. But there is happiness in this: he knows he’ll be given an unconditional welcome, and that he’ll have someone who will give back to him instead of just taking.
Love love love this!

Another thing that got me - Mira accusing Mohinder of daydreaming. "I hate you, you bitch" indeed!

Whew--this certainly fits the prompt--even as Mohinder acknowledges that he's culpable in going along with it, the story feels suffused with such bitterness and resentment.
I'm a bit nervous about this, because we know so little about Mira that I feel like I'm creating an OC by writing about her
Yeah, it's hard--I think because Mira is such a minor character on the show, she ends up feeling a bit like a straw (wo)man here, written specifically to annoy Mohinder (although I don't think your characterization is out of line with what little we saw of her). When I first read this out of the blue, it felt like Mira-bashing--it's only after rereading your other un_love_you fics that I was able to put it in context and be more comfortable with it.

Mira means well but she doesn't really understand him or how he works
That was what I was trying to do, without stating it outright. She's not really a bitch, but we know that Mohinder has some anger control issues, and he's just thinking awful things about her because she's an easy target. If I were to write a sequel, it would be about Mohinder realizing a few months down the road that he dealt with the situation very poorly and while Mira's behavior might have been irritating, he shouldn't have put all the blame on her.
