Inner Conflicts

I'm trying to identify conflicts in my psyche. I see two in particular that really create a problem

I constantly re-examine the world around me. One of the things I do is test the so-called rules that our reality is based on. Did the Earth rotate and thus did the Sun rise, good - check. Still have Gravity, good - check, etc. I am Spiritual and have a healthy respect for science, they inform each other, but neither system should be depended on entirely. There are some people for whom Science is their Religion and vice versa. In regards to Politics, there is too much of a herd mentality out there and for the most part I choose to not be a part of that.
