Very interesting stories. I've had experiences like that with Tarot, where a seemingly negative reading will prime me before a potentially bad situation develops and I am better able to see it for what it is and simply walk away from it. I always record my readings but seldom review them against events of the day.

Yeah, I'm particularly fascinated by the fact that my reading for THAT week was Chariot, Death and 7 of Disks (Failure). Certain cards, like Failure, or Defeat, or Futility have such an emotional impact on my psyche, I imagine that this is "bad". In this particular case, the card simply referred to the fact that I didn't sit through the entire course, but left early and didn't...technically...complete it ( ... )

I can't remember. I think I paid him half. Either half or I didn't pay him back at all. I don't mind paying for it though. I need to write an addendum to this post so be on the lookout. There are important things I forgot to write about that substantiate why I consider this, overall, a challenging but good experience.

You didn't comment on part 1 of this so I'm wondering...did you see it and read it?

I did, yes. I went up and looked this group and found various classifications as some sort of cult.

Yeppers! I would agree that it is a cult. I am fascinated that they worked the "education" angle instead of the "religion" angle. Very clever!
