It was written by a former member of the Board of Directors at my office job. I think he is spot on with it and that is why I'm sharing. Found it here

Common courtesy, like common sense, has become a pretty much total oxymoron these days. That was a great piece.

Good column... courtesy sure is a rare commodity these days. I hope I am teaching my children properly but I know we lack in the thanking for cards, presents etc. Not that we don't say thank you but I love the idea of writing notes to say thank you.

Do you mind if I repost?

I'm online for a while tonight but I have to be up and at Target by 8.31 to get my Harry and then I'm working at 12.30... gotta read as much as I can before work *giggle* Hope we get to catch up...

I'm sure you are doing just fine with your kiddos. The are already way ahead of most kids their age. I love getting a personal, hand written note in the mail...tis just such a good feeling...you feel loved then.

Repost as often as you like.

I am also tired of the lack of courtesy these days. I wrote a letter to Daily Record on driver courtesy. I hope they print it. I've written many letters to them, they should give me a job!

Courtesy seems to be a thing of the past most days...except for a few people...they are the shining stars in my opinion.
